What Mirra is

Mirra is an AI wardrobe companion that helps you organize your clothes, get outfit suggestions, and make smarter shopping decisions. We are committed to respecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is handled.

What we collect

• Account information — email address and display name when you sign up.
• Style profile — style preferences, color choices, body details, and lifestyle information you choose to provide during onboarding. All fields are optional.
• Wardrobe photos — images of your clothing items that you upload. These are used solely to analyze and organize your wardrobe.
• Inspiration photos — outfit inspiration images you upload. Used to understand your style preferences.
• Saved products — product information from online stores that you choose to save or analyze using the Mirra browser extension.
• Chat messages — conversations with the AI stylist, used to provide personalized advice.
• Payment information — if you subscribe to Mirra Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

What we do not collect

• We do not track your browsing activity outside of the Mirra extension.
• We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
• We do not use your photos or data to train AI models.
• The browser extension only activates when you click it — it does not run in the background.

How we use your data

• To analyze your clothing items and provide wardrobe organization.
• To generate personalized outfit suggestions based on your wardrobe and preferences.
• To provide AI styling advice through the chat feature.
• To analyze products you save and tell you how they fit your wardrobe.
• To process your subscription payments via Stripe.

AI processing

Mirra uses third-party AI services to analyze images and provide styling advice. When you upload a photo or ask for advice, the relevant data is sent to our AI provider for processing. This data is not retained by the AI provider after processing is complete and is not used to train their models.

Browser extension

The Mirra Chrome extension reads product information (name, price, color, sizes, images) from the current page only when you click the extension icon. It does not track your browsing history, inject ads, or collect data in the background. Product data is only sent to Mirra when you explicitly choose to save or analyze it.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely and access is restricted to essential operations only. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) for all data transfers.

Your rights

• Access — you can view all your data in the app at any time.
• Delete individual items — remove any wardrobe item, saved product, inspiration photo, or chat message at any time.
• Delete your account — you can delete your entire account and all associated data from the Profile page. This action is permanent and immediate.
• Export — you can request a copy of your data by contacting us.

Product analytics

We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) for privacy-friendly product analytics — which pages and features are used, and aggregate sign-up and conversion data — to understand what’s working and improve Mirra. With your consent, this includes anonymized session replays to spot usability problems — with all images (including your wardrobe photos) and everything you type masked out. We never sell or share this data.

Cookies

Mirra uses essential cookies for authentication and session management, plus privacy-friendly product-analytics cookies (PostHog, EU) to measure feature usage. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Children

Mirra is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 years of age.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
